The purpose of The Great Northern Pipe Club is to stimulate and advance the general welfare of pipe smoking, pipe collecting, and tobacco. It develops a fraternal spirit among pipe smokers and provides a medium for the exchange of information among members.
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of club member, Ted Laird. Ted passed away on January 25, 2024. Ted was a long time member of the pipe club as a collector, expert and pipe maker. He was also the driver of many of our annual pipe swaps. He will certainly be missed. Our condolences to Ted's family.
